  1. Thank you very much for developing this site. I’m currently interested in doing research on DSSC as my graduate thesis. Any particular topic you can suggest? Thank you.

  2. Hi

I’m glad you found it useful. If you check out the DSSC post, you’ll see a reference to Hamann’s paper where he discusses in detail various strategies being considered for improving DSSCs – so depending on your interest you could look at the metal oxide surface, the dye, the electrolyte. The reference is: Advancing beyond current generation dye-sensitized solar cells, Hamann, T.W., Jensen, R. A., Martinson, A. B. F., Van Ryswyk, H and Hupp, J. T., Energy Environ. Sci., 2008, 1, 66 – 78.

    • Thank you for your help. It’s exactly what i need. May I ask you for some more articles that’s related to DSSC? We only have limited access to journal articles Or maybe I’ll just wait for you to post it.. This topic is relatively new to me. I got interested in it because of the apparent energy crisis. I’m still gathering as much information as I can.. and Hopefully I will be able to do a successful research on DSSC. Thank you and More power to your site!!

  3. Hi Michael,
This site is really great. The things I felt difficult to understand are explained in a simpler way. I’m enjoying the site and look for more to come!!!

  4. Hi, this site is fantastic. i have read a lot of its content and it has been invaluable to my work. i have a question about doping titania films, i know what doping the titania with a metal oxide will do, but does that result have anything to do with the acidity of the metal oxide and why?

    Keep up the good work!
